On Thursday forenoon, while George Seath, a miner, was working on an incline in one of the pits belonging to the Donibristle Coal Company, the chain holding two of the hutches broke, and running down the rails, the hutches passed over Seath, and inflicted such serious injuries that he only survived a short time. Deceased was unmarried.
