Scotlands People
On-line access to birth (1855-1905), marriage (1855-1930) and death (1855-1955) certificates of Scotland. Also the census records of 1841.1851,1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901. Old parish registers from 1553-1854 are also available where the original records survive. A good site but may become expensive if a lot of research is required.

An index to records held in the Fife Coucil archives which, by appointment can be viewed free of charge at the Archive Centre. An invaluable resource if you have anyone of note from Fife.

Southern Necropolis Research
A fascinating guide to the City of the Dead in Glasgow. There is only one SEATH of note buried here. Thomas Bollin Seath but the content of this site is so good I had to include it in the links. Colin Mackie, who runs the website also carries out tours of the Necropolis and is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Well worth a visit either on line or in person.
