Son of George Seath and Mary Seath (nee Bain).
 
George Seath was leading stoker on HMS Cowslip (K196), which was a flower class escort ship built by Harland and Wolff, Belfast and launched on the 28th May 1941.  The ship served throughout the war finally being scrapped in 1949 at Troon, Ayrshire.
