Donibristle Report:
The late Mr. Seath. The most profound sorrow was felt by the villagers when the sad news was conveyed to them on Wednesday that their old and valued friend, Mr. Seath had passed away in a nursing home in Dunfermline. The decreed gentleman had a life long connection with the village, and conducting his business there for many years. He retired from business over a year ago and took up residence in Aberdour. He gave much of his time to public work, being at the time of his death Chairman of Aberdour Parish Council, and also a member of the School Board. Mr. Seath was one of life’s gentlemen, and delighted in doing good in the most unostentatious fashion. The district is certainly the poorer owing to his death.
